We offer an Enhanced access service on non-bank holiday Mondays between 18:30 and 20:30. In addition, we hold Child Health Surveillance clinics and nurse practitioner led diabetic clinics.
Our nurse practitioner runs her own surgeries on all weekdays. She helps with telephone triage and runs her own minor illnesses and diabetic clinics. Our practice nurse, Seela Lamb, an experienced senior practice nurse, who works as a freelance part time practice nurse, runs our Child Health clinics.
Hospital Courier Service
Specimens to be tested at the hospital are collected by the courier at 2.00pm. Please bring all specimens e.g. urine, to the surgery on that day before 1.00pm. Please note: we do not have any storage facilities for specimens.
Other Non-NHS Services
Medical examinations for HGV, PSV licences and pre-employment medical etc. are not covered by the NHS. A fee is payable for these medical examinations, please check with reception staff for these. Medical Examinations take time so please tell the Receptionist the purpose of the appointment so that they can book an appropriate amount of time.
Private Forms
All non NHS forms for completion will attract a fee. A fee list is available in the reception. Some of these forms require detailed review of your entire medical notes and so please allow plenty of time to process them.
